Robert started his career as an IFA after achieving a First Class Honours Degree in Financial Economics. He has worked for the company for over 11 years, performing a variety of different functions in this time. As well as providing financial advice to clients Robert is the Director of the company and holds several regulatory positions including Compliance Officer and Supervisor. He enjoys dealing with technical client queries, particularly regarding taxation and pension matters.
Robert has achieved the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and the Certificates in Mortgage Advice and Equity Release, all with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). He has also completed the Certificate in Pensions Auto Enrolment via the Pensions Management Institute (PMI). He is a Fellowship member of the Personal Finance Society and a Chartered Financial Planner, which was awarded by the CII. Finally he has passed Level I, Level II and Level III of the CFA Program and he is a CFA Charterholder.
Robert is qualified to advise on Investments, Pensions, Defined Benefits Pension transfers, Protection, Mortgages and Lifetime Mortgages.
Martin has more than 19 years of experience in the financial services industry, having originally his career as a trainee Financial Adviser with Brittanic Assurance in 1999. He then represented Friends Provident and Zurich as a financial adviser on a self-employed basis before joining Bob Little & Co in 2004.
Martin passed (with Merit) the Diploma for Financial Advisers via the London Institute of Banking and Finance in 2012. He then went on to pass the Advanced Diploma for Financial Advisers in 2017, which also earned him the highly-coveted Chartered status.
Martin is qualified to advise on Investments, Pensions, Protection and Mortgages.
Chris has more than 26 years experience in the financial services industry having started his career with NatWest Bank in 1990. He then worked for Britannic Assurance as an investments and pensions adviser before shifting his focus to mortgages and protection products. He joined Bob Little & Co Ltd in 2011. Chris has achieved many qualifications throughout his career, including the Diploma for Financial Advisers with the LIBF and the Mortgage Advice Qualification.
Chris is passionate about finance and spends some of his free time researching macroeconomics and financial markets in general. Being part of the investment team at Bob Little & Co means Chris can now share this personal interest with clients. Chris believes that building relationships with clients is essential to the success of the company, which can only be done by providing exceptional, loyal and trustworthy service.
Chris is qualified to advise on Investments, Pensions, Protection, Mortgages and Lifetime Mortgages.
Matthew has worked in Financial services for the last 8 years, having previously worked for Darlington Building Society and London & Country Mortgages. He performed various roles at Darlington Building Society including Office Manager, Mortgage Adviser and Mortgage Underwriter before joining London & Country to work as an Independent Mortgage Adviser. He joined the team at Bob Little & Co in December 2014.
Matthew has been CeMap qualified through the Insitute of Financial Services since 2008. He is qualified to advise on Mortgages and Protection.
Angela has worked in the industry for more than 20 years and has been with the firm since 2003. She holds the Financial Planning Certificate qualification and specialises in Pension Administration and Investment Administration.
Jonathan has worked for our company since 2014 when he originally joined as our apprentice. He has since achieved the CF1 (UK financial services, regulation and ethics) and FA1 (Life office administration) certificates through the Personal Finance Society and he now specialises in pension administration.
Karen joined Bob Little & Co Ltd in 2012 as our Receptionist.
Lisa has worked in the industry since August 1999. She specialises in Mortgage Administration and Investment Administration.
Nicola has worked for our company since September 1998. She specialises in Protection Administration and Investment Administration.
Sarah has worked for the firm since 2010. She carries out many roles for our firm including Accounts Administrator and Personal Assistant to the Director. She holds a BA Honours Degree in Business Management.
Steph has worked for the firm since 2011. She originally joined us as our Receptionist but she now specialises in Investment Administration.
|CFA||Described as "the highest distinction in the investment management profession", this accreditation covers topics ranging from Portfolio Management and Wealth Management to Economics and Statistics. It is equivalent to a Masters degree and is only available to individuals who hold a Bachelor's degree and who have the required amount of relevant work experience.|
|FPFS||Fellows hold the CII Fellowship, the highest qualification awarded by the CII. Fellows must hold the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning (APFS) or equivalent and have a minimum of five years' industry experience.|
|Chartered Financial Planner/Chartered Associate||Holds the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning (APFS) or equivalent and must have a minimum of five years' industry experience. The 'Chartered' title can only be conferred under the auspices of the Privy Council and is designed to indicate professional attainment and commitment.|
|APFS/Adv DipFA||Holds the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent. This develops specialist planning capabilities supporting the provision of a sophisticated and comprehensive approach to financial management.|
|DipPFS/DipFA||Holds the Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent. This develops advanced technical knowledge and understanding across a broad range of key advisory areas as selected by the adviser.|
|CeMAP/MAQ/Certs CII(MP & ER)||Holds a Certificate level qualification relating to mortgages (CeMAP, MAQ, Cert CII(MP)) or Lifetime Mortgages and Equity Release (Cert CII(ER)).|
